Great family ice cream stand. Good amount of choices for flavors and toppings. Looked like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry are the everyday flavors with 1 rotating flavor. Workers were polite and fast at getting all the customers served. Drive-through is awesome to have and helps keep the congestion down. Biggest bonus for me was they have Twinkle coat and that’s my absolute favorite.
Only negative is they ONLY take Cash or Check which I did not see on the website so I had to leave and get cash then come back.
I suppose this review is a long time coming now, so I might as well get it out of the way. If you live in town, there are two places you will go to treat yourself, The Fireside and Frostie Freeze. If you haven't learned of the great variety that ice cream dishes can have I wouldn't blame you but this is the only ice cream shop in my travels across the country where they offer truly excellent banana splits. Of course for the more standard options you have your shakes, malts, cones, and dipped cones, all in flavors you might not even know existed. My point for all of this being is that once you go once you'll want to go again, and when inevitably return there's hundreds of different combinations for you to try if you so choose.
Enjoy this place for a quick, refreshing treat. Love the availability and variety plus the ability of bringing the dogs here! Our German Shepherd mix loves the vanilla cones for a treat as much as we do!
Absolutely love this local ice cream place! Perfect place for dessert for the entire family, great prices and fast and friendly service! Everyone working here is so friendly and helpful, especially for first-timers like ourselves. Either drive-up or walk-up and if you like coffee drinks, highly recommend the coffee malt. It’s our new favorite place to get dessert!
Still as awesome as my childhood memories! I found myself in Fort Atkinson on a snowy Sunday in March. It's a rare event that I'm in Fort Atkinson and even rarer that the lines for Frosty Freeze aren't crazy long. Even at 4p, I waited a good 10 minutes in the drive thru. Nevertheless, my medium pineapple shake $3.00 (add banana $0.25) was delicious! The counter staff are very friendly and the prices are great. Note: they don't sell anything except sweet treats; but this is a hugely popular spot for amazing desserts.
Been coming here since I was a small child! Always get excited to come here!! The strawberry soft serve is amazing. I highly recommend getting the twinkle coat on a cone. Such a nice, small-town feel. Also, constantly impressed by the staff here. They do so well with large orders and don’t even write anything down!! Amazing!!!
Got an orange float that was fantastic and my son was gifted with a chocolate vanilla swirl cone dipped in cherry. Couldn't have been happier. Staff was very patient and friendly.
